Lord Mayor of London to Visit Leeds
On behalf of Yorkshire Building Society’s Chairman John Heaps, the Leeds FinTech community is invited to join the Lord Mayor of London’s annual visit to Leeds on 23 July. As in previous years, the Lord Mayor is keen to understand the priorities and the challenges in West Yorkshire and the north, and YBS has put together some events to showcase what is going on in the region.
As the Lord Mayor’s theme for the year is “Tomorrow’s City Today”, focusing heavily on digital skills development, his visit has been designed around what the region has to offer as a burgeoning FinTech and digital hub.
It would therefore be great to see you at a public forum focusing on how our region is taking on digital challenges at 11.45am – 1pm, Leeds City Centre.
