FinTech North are delighted to announce our new partnership with accelerator for UK financial services, Future Finance!
Future Finance is a UK-based programme that helps SMEs and mid-tier firms adopt innovation that can drive productivity and growth, and increase access to financial services for underserved communities. Through their programme, they equip professionals with skills to navigate challenges and capitalise on opportunities arising from topics like AI, regulation, and customer access to services.
Through initiatives like the Innovation Leadership Programme, Future Finance provides tools and skillsets to understand priority areas for innovation within firms, along with the capability, additional resource and consultant support to implement lasting change. Delivered in collaboration between academia and industry, they ensure that the challenges they research and the support they put in place is driving for a more inclusive and equitable financial sector.
We’re excited to partner with Future Finance to support our shared goal for connectivity, sector development and innovation, through a series of events and initiatives.
As part of our partnership, we are looking forward to hosting a webinar centred around financial inclusion, a prevalent sector issue. The webinar will cover topics including research insights into underserved demographics and emerging financial behaviors like BNPL usage, gambling harms, regional perspectives on poverty and debt in the North of England, and the role of FinTech in bridging the digital divide and supporting financial inclusion, with more to be announced.
In addition to this webinar, we will also be collaborating on a North West WealthTech Forum, celebrating the region’s expertise and innovation. The forum will explore themes including accessibility and inclusion, the silver economy, women’s wealth and intergenerational wealth transfer and more to be announced soon.
Future Finance will also feature as name badge sponsor at our Leeds Conference in May, with the option of providing a short presentation or appearing on a panel. We will also publish 4 pieces of content on behalf of Future Finance across the year, sharing their valuable insights with our community.
