FinTech North is delighted to announce the return of our flagship Liverpool Conference in 2025, hosted in partnership with Adoptech, Bruntwood SciTech, Mastercard, Vilja and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, name badge sponsors DTM Legal, evening social sponsors Sedulo and international sponsors Madrid Investment Attraction, at the iconic Royal Liver Building on the Liverpool Waterfront.
Situated at the heart of the city’s Pier Head, the Royal Liver Building anchors Liverpool’s history as a centre for global trade and finance. It originally housed the Royal Liver Assurance Company, one of the city’s key financial institutions, underscoring its ties to business and the local economy.
The Liverpool City Region’s FinTech ecosystem has seen remarkable and ongoing growth, driven by a spirit of collaboration across sectors. Findings from Whitecap Consulting’s 2023 regional strategy report highlight the breadth of activity underway with more than 40 FinTechs in the region—from InsurTech to RegTech, FraudTech, and WealthTech—showcasing Liverpool’s diverse expertise.
The report also calls for continued collaboration, which we aim to foster through events like this flagship gathering. In bringing together startups, scale-ups, investors, and thought leaders, we aim to celebrate and showcase the region’s progress and its contributions to the national FinTech landscape.
At the conference, the content will cover some of the region’s specialisms, as well as themes addressing key subsector issues including:

– WealthTech
– Customer centricity
– Risk
We’re excited to continue highlighting the unique strengths of Liverpool’s FinTech community and to connect stakeholders from across the ecosystem to drive innovation, investment and sector development.
