Hull Conference 2024
June 27th, 9am
Aura Innovation Centre
Join us this June 27th at the state-of-the-art Aura Innovation Centre at the University of Hull for a half-day conference full of insights from Hull’s emerging FinTech ecosystem!
FinTech North returns to Hull for our second ever event in the region, to showcase the growth of the fledgling ecosystem at buzzing centre for research-driven academic excellence. FinTech North first took to Hull in 2022 for a Forum that delved into the FinTech innovation taking place out of East Yorkshire, and heard from the likes of Barclays, C4DI, CIP and more.
We are excited to make our return and having seen organic growth over the years as an organisation as well as in the sector as a whole, we expect to have a record number of attendees and engagement in the region on the day.
We can’t wait to bring the Northern FinTech community together to explore East Yorkshire’s emerging FinTech, fostering collaboration between academia and industry and its key regional stakeholders.
The Aura Innovation Centre at the University of Hull perfectly sits between academia and innovation, a truly brilliant and collaborative space to highlight the work going on in East Yorkshire. The Centre boasts a diverse range of facilities, including dynamic event space, co-working space, and Inventix, a ‘flexible innovation space where you can try out ideas using cutting edge equipment.’
Some topics to look out for:
– Peer to peer lending
– Skills
– Green finance
– Payments
– Performance of FinTechs
– Engaging with academia
Early-bird tickets are available until the 16th of June for £19.99. General Admission tickets will be available for £39.99.
