Skills and Talent Initiative
FinTech North is excited to announce a programme focused on developing skills in FinTech – the launch of a Skills and Talent initiative. This will aim to bridge the gap between employer demand and academic supply in the FinTech sector, and to continue to develop the FinTech sector in the North.
As part of this initiative, we are actively engaging with universities to foster collaboration and align academic opportunities with the evolving needs of the FinTech industry.
We aim to work closely. with industry stakeholders including universities, education providers, training providers, corporates, FinTechs, FS institutions, Tech and Engineering consultancies and FinTech employers. We are set to run skills focussed events, steering groups, seminars, webinars, roundtables, panel discussions at conferences and hackathons, as well as sharing skills-focussed content on our website. In doing this, we hope to increase our engagement with students and other people in the early stage of a FinTech career, as well as people seeking to re-skill into FinTech roles.
We have developed a skills package to offer different academic organisations opportunities to collaborate with FinTechs. For further information, please contact us via email at info@fintechnorth.uk.
